Hi Dawn's Ma! I lost a job in a simular way after having my foot broken in 9 places. They couldn't do it face to face either.
That's okay, for while I was out healing, relaxing and getting Workman's comp, I signed up for some classes at a local community college. I haven't looked back since!! Take Care!
Hi, Gail - Welcome to the Blogosphere! And Happy Belated Birthday.
I was so touched to hear that the clients all sang to you. You can hold your head high knowing that you did your best by them.
Don't forget to take time to be good to yourself, too.
Hi Ma...Dawn told me to come by and say hi.
Hi! And welcome to blogland.
(Time to sue your old employer - they got it wrong.)
Hi, every one, thanks for your comments. My brother, who lives w/me his a client where I worked. I was going to have him get my paycheck for me because I didn't want to face anyone there but I told my husband #$%%%)(*&& I'm going to get my check. I'm a LEO AND HEAR ME ROAR. I went up there with my head high and not one tear in my eye or crack in voice. All the clients were running up to me and hugging me and I felt good. It also feels good to be home. I had quit smoking for 22 yrs and started 2yrs ago because of this job and have not had a cigarette since tuesday. The stress was not from the clients. Have a nice day everyone.
